As of late 2020 node-sass was deprecated. Lately it has become a source of Dependabot alerts. While the vulnerabilities are not a practical concern (see note), now is a good time to migrate to the recommended and functionally-equivalent sass.
Note: node-sass is a build/bundling utility. It's inputs are our considered safe (our source code). Thus not a concern.
