Java: Adjust API for V1 for 01-SimpleChat sample in sk-v1-proposal #3608

Investigate the necessary changes in the current API and update the class definitions to match in the 01-SimpleChat sample. The sample should compile once these adjustments are made, but isn't expected to work at all.

Once we are finished all adjustments for each proposed V1 sample, we will have a clear idea of all the API changes that v1 requires, and we can then begin implementation.
