@thiner Does this error happens because of the proxy ? How are you setting up the proxy ?
I found that it's caused by my company proxy. Thanks.
i'm also facing same issue... Did anyone has answer to the above issue?
I'm facing this issue. My deployment environment has a proxy to catch all the trafic. With my local environment, I can connect to cosmosdb just fine.
How do I setup the the connection policy of cosmosdb package to use the proxy?
Following is the dependencies that I used com.microsoft.azure:azure-cosmosdb-spring-boot-starter com.microsoft.azure:azure-cosmosdb-direct
@ipanggabean - you need to use customized ConnectionPolicy
object in order to use proxy, as you will need to change the connection mode from Direct TCP (which is default) to either Direct HTTPS, or gateway mode.
First test with GATEWAY connection mode and see if it works then we can optimize the connection mode to Direct HTTPS.
On how to customize this, please check customization config under this header : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/developer/java/spring-framework/how-to-guides-spring-data-cosmosdb#best-practices
I am working behind company firewall, I've setup proxy in SpringBoot. However, I got below error while starting up the spring boot application. I couldn't find a way to set proxy for
spring-data-cosmosdb
, could you please tell how to do that?
