Describe the bug

Sandbox provisioning is disabled due to a technical issue, preventing the successful creation of Microsoft 365 Developer accounts

What happened?

A pop-up window gets displayed:

"We're unable to complete this request. Sandbox provisioning is currently disabled due to a technical issue. Please try again in a few days."

What did you expect to happen?

The Microsoft 365 Developer account should be created successfully, and users should not encounter any errors related to sandbox provisioning, upon providing an alternative Phone number.

How would you reproduce the bug?

  1. Go to the Microsoft 365 Developer account creation page
  2. Enter the required information ( personal email and password ).
  3. Click on "Continue".
  4. Observe the error message preventing account creation.
