Environment Details:

Application Name: VS Code Extension for API Center OS: Windows 11 Enterprise 23H2 (OS build 22631.3296) Screen reader: ORCA

Repro Steps:

  1. Start ORCA screen reader.
  2. Create an API center in azure portal.
  3. Open Visual studio Code.
  4. Tab till Chat option in the left side panel and press enter.
  5. Type @terminal in chat box and hit ENTER key.
  6. TAB to "What are some popular front end framework for web development" and "Explain the suggested command" buttons.
  7. Observe the issue.

Actual Result:

ORCA screen reader is not announcing name property of "What are some popular front end framework for web development" and "Explain the suggested command" buttons.

Expected Result:

ORCA screen reader should be announcing name property of "What are some popular front end framework for web development" and "Explain the suggested command" buttons.

User Impact:

Screen reader users will not be able to get the information about the controls and will miss the information.

@formulahendry As per the C+AI accessibility testing external bug process primary team need to file the bug to VSCode team & share us the external bug ID.

This issue is caused by UI of GitHub Copilot Chat extension, not related to UI of API Center extension.
