Is there any ETA on version 3.12 support?

Have to stay on newer version of python due to internal security policies, will the 3.12 version be supported

Sorry there's nothing we can do at this time, we will add support once the service supports it. Refer to this document for the supported Python versions: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-functions/functions-versions?tabs=isolated-process%2Cv4&pivots=programming-language-python#languages

@alexweininger there needs to be a ticket raised on the appropriate team at Azure to support this. Can you assist in raising that in the right place. This is surely a blocker for more than @cam-explores and myself.

I think that this would be the appropriate repo to file an issue on the Functions service: https://github.com/Azure/azure-functions-host

Also from this blog post it looks like they are already working on supporting Python 3.12.
