Error: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading '0')

I have been getting this error, and I have read online about updating the VS Code and also updating changing the extension from pre-release to release. None of these methods worked. I am still getting the same error for a while.

I believe this has just been fixed in the latest version: v0.16.2024051601 (pre-release)
