installing .Net sdk in VS code on linux #1462

I am facing a problem installing the .Net sdk in vs code on my chromebook. the app is installed and launched. while i try ro install it from inside the app i get a message: it says u need to update the .net install tool to version 2.0.2. Although Vs code is at its last version and fully updated, what should i do?

Within the extensions tab, make sure that the .NET Install Tool is up to date.
