Currently, it doesn't seem possible to download provisioning profiles from the Apple Developer account, which used to be done in VS for Mac (Preferences > Apple Developer Accounts > View Details > Download All Profiles)
Alternatives considered
VS for Mac is still an alternative, but that is deprecated.
Should be possible to download them via XCode (Xcode > Settings > Accounts > and press Download Manual Profiles)
