Issue adding cells to group 1 in Jupyter Notebook after VSCode update

Dear VSCode Team,

I'm writing to report an issue I'm experiencing with adding cells to group 1 in Jupyter Notebook after a recent VSCode update.

Problem:

After updating VSCode, I'm unable to add cells to group 1 in my Jupyter Notebook. When I click the option to add cells to group 1, nothing happens. I cannot execute the group of cells as a unit. Please let me know if there are any known compatibility issues with the current VSCode version and the Jupyter extension I'm using.

Yes, the same problem exists in each group.

Please can you share a screenshot of the error or what you are trying to do I don’t quite understand what you mean by group 1

Hi, Please have a look at the screenshot , I'm having trouble adding cells to groups in Jupyter Clicking the icon "|+" (right arrow in the screenshot) doesn't seem to do anything , and the "Execute groupX" buttons (at the left arrow ) are grayed and unclickable.
