Plot display from jupyter notebooks unzooms erratically #8560

Hello,

I've been observing an annoying issue when working with jupyter notebooks in visual studio code.

A couple of months ago, it was possible to open a plot from a jupyter notebook and inspect it / zoom into it arbitrarily using the buttons on the upper/right of the plot (which appear when hovering over it).

Unfortunately, since a month or two, this plot dispaly is kind of broken. Namely, the view starts with the plot completely zoomed out to outside the view area. It only appears when zooming out even more as a tiny-small plot, which can then be zoomed into / out of, but not actually moved. When the user tries to drag and move the plot with the cursor, it erratically moves out of the display area again.

Thanks for the issue. Can you try updating your VS code and jupyter extension? You're a number of months out of date.

Thanks for the issue. Closing from lack of feedback. Please reopen if you can retry with a newer version of VS code and the jupyter extension.
