Thank you for your feedback. We are currently reviewing it (reference 713689).
@TylerLeonhardt Could you share the example where this Russian translation shows up as in the screenshot?
@crsuzukimsft in this file... here's an example: https://github.com/microsoft/vscode-loc-drop/blob/main/loc/ru/src/vscode-extensions/git.xlf.lcl#L572
I see 11 instances of this word... If it is being used in place of the English word "commit" we should use "коммит" instead
There is some errors in VScodium that shown in About dialog: https://github.com/VSCodium/vscodium/issues/1281 But I don't sure if VScodium only affected.
@crsuzukimsft
As for issue - we usualy use direct translation: коммит
as for entity, закоммитить
for process.
We got this feedback on the Russian language pack:
It says "Machine translated. Nobody calls a commit "Fixation"" (thanks @isidorn!)
This word seems to be used in many places (which makes sense, the git extension probably says "commit" a lot). Can we use the word they're suggesting in the comment?
KOMMNT (but with the backwards
N
)
