4 years ago Ran into this issue, I think it's probably another symptom of issue microsoft/WSL#4851 I'm looking at adding more bindings to SQL Server to see if that's a temporary fix.

1 year ago I am unable to connect to the MSSQL server with WSL 2. The same server with the same extension is reachable without WSL 2.

Steps to Reproduce:
This is extension works great on a local instance of VS Code, but when I use it with WSL 2 I cannot get it to connect. The server I am connecting to is running SQL Server 2017, and I have a web address for it (mssql.domain-name.com) as well as a username and server.
