Postgres Tools Service component could not start #112

Steps to Reproduce:

1.Open VsCode 2.Install PostgresSQL extension 3.Upon reopening this error ocurrs

I think this repo is dead. Last commit > 3 years ago, tickets open for a long time. Can someone @microsoftopensource please archive it? CC @smartguest

Same issue here with Manjaro. How can I see what is happening in the background? The error message is absolutely not helpful. libffi.so.6 is installed on my system.

Same thing for me with Ubuntu 22.04.

There's no recent commits and no responses to the issues. Is this project definitely abandoned ?

Still having this issue on Fedora 37

Last commit is from April 9, 2019. That's almost 4 years ago. Looks like Microsoft has abandoned this extension.
