Support for linux devcontainers on M1 Mac

• VSCode Version: 1.85.1
• OS Version: MacBook Pro M2 Max with Sonoma 14.2.1 (23C71)

Steps to Reproduce:

On a new ARM processor Mac, Install this extension inside a linux dev container Attempt to connect to Postgres

Initializing PostgreSQL tools service for the PostgreSQL extension.
Note: PostgreSQL commands will be available after installing the service.

Platform-------------: linux, aarch64, name=debian, version=12

throws error

seeing the same issue:

• extension version: 1.0.1 preview
• VSCode version: 1.87.0
• OS version: Sonoma 14.3.1

steps to reproduce:

• Debian Linux 12.5 running as VM in UTM (version 4.4.5 (94))
• PostgreSQL port 5432 forwarded to macOS host
• installing PostgreSQL tools service works
• getting this error message when configuring a new connection
