I uninstalled all of my vs code extensions and uninstalled and re-installed vs code and still getting this error

Can someone please help - what do I need to do?

I saw some people reported some problem like this before, and the answer they provide is downgrade. However, the Python extension (and maybe also some others) does not support older version (1.74.3). So that solution may not work well anymore.

@rebel-crafnant and @Linzh7 can you please share your VS Code version number and the version of GitHub Pull Requests and Issues? You should not see this error if you are on the latest of both.

Tried installing a variety of Extensions from the mentioned Python pack to the Salesforce Extended pack.

Currently running VSCode v1.75.1

Not sure what is meant by "version of GitHub Pull Requests" though, sorry...!

I've replicated this on 3 machines in 3 separate physical locations.

I did not install GitHub Pull Requests and Issues before. To test whether the problem came from this plugin, I just installed the lasted version, v0.58.1. However, this issue happened again.

Moreover, the only problem I face is that I have to login Github everytime. The other functions are working fine.

Additionally, when I try on another computer, I find that I can sign out from Github, but there still a Github Account row.

Downgraded to Nov2022 1.74.3 release, and this seems to resolve.

So something between then and now causing this issue.

Sorry, I wasn't suggesting it as a solution; I just wanted to contribute my own limited findings with the same error.

Found the issue for the GitHub Pull Requests extension. The fix will be available in the next VS Code insiders build. Unfortunately, I can't just update the extension to resolve this issue in the stable build :(
