Error when split terminal #5380

Issue Type: Bug

I open two folders in my workspace (on VM). Then open second terminal tab, selecting one of the folders as cwd. But when I split terminal (with button on the write to terminal name) I get the error:

The terminal process failed to launch: Starting directory (cwd) --folder path here-- does not exist.
