When I start VS Code it opens in a tiny window. This has been happening for two days now.

Does this happen when you only have 1 window to restore? or if you have many windows?

It happens for the first one I open, and every one after that.

Can you share a gif of the behavior (screen recording?) so I can see the size before and after? Note you won't be able to attach it to an email response, github will drop it

@w3johnson do you have multiple monitors? if so can you share info about the resolution and scaling of each monitor in your OS settings?

@deepak1556 I notice if I restart VS Code on my second monitor (which is 2K while my primary monitor is 4k) the window gets smaller each successive time.

It still happens every time. I always have to manually resize the VS Code window to make it useable.

This issue seems to have been fixed with the latest version (1.71.0) of VS Code.
