The selected folder/file after closing folder should be the parent folder #153971

Currently

  1. After opening a folder to show the subdirectory, you can select the folder/files inside that folder.
  2. After selecting, you can close the folder.
  3. Then, the (n)th item is selected where the n represents the number the file that was inside the folder.

As seen on the video above, closing the sub directory after selecting the file would select the first.txt file rather than the sub directory itself.

This might be inconvenient to some people.

What can change

Not selecting the (n)th item, but selecting the parent directory.

Either make a change in VSCode or make a setting about this configuration.
