Never-ending notebook loading

VS Code runs against a Python 3 dev container.

I am trying to open a ipynb file in the workspace and get a never-ending loading spinner.

The only related log might be from Log (Main):

@digitarald Have u solved this problem? It happens when I upgrade to Vscode 1.73.1. I have to downgrade it to 1.72.2.
