Very difficult to highlight text #169814

Closed catwilk closed 4 months ago

Type: Performance Issue

I've noticed in the last week or so that it's become nearly impossible to accurately highlight text. Every time I try the cursor will release (as if I've let go of the mouse button) halfway through the text I'm trying to highlight.

This has made VS Code almost impossible to use.

VS Code version: Code 1.74.2 (e8a3071ea4344d9d48ef8a4df2c097372b0c5161, 2022-12-20T10:29:14.590Z) OS version: Windows_NT x64 10.0.22000 Modes: Restricted Sandboxed: No
