Thanks for creating this issue! It looks like you may be using an old version of VS Code, the latest stable release is 1.74.2. Please try upgrading to the latest version and checking whether this issue remains.

Still remains. We all should be moving away from this platform - not moving towards it.

You can right click in the status bar to remove this

But that leaves MIcrosoft leaning on Twitter for its operation. My point is that depending on Twitter now becomes a political statement. I do not think that Microsoft should be doing that. Microsoft is capable of collecting feedback without forcing it's users into the Twitterverse.
