Lock the Activity Bar Buttons #176384

It would be wonderful if there could be a way to lock the Activity Bar buttons so that they are no longer able to be accidentally dragged and dropped into each other. I spend a good part of my work day rearranging my sidebar because I somehow manage to drag source control into the folders view or some other combination. That would be a HUGE time saver.

Please! I've totally f'up'd my Activity Bar - somehow Explorer View wound up in the Run & Debug view. Man, I REALLY dislike this drag your UI around feature. Bad idea.

Also, a Reset feature would be nice as well for those of us that have already messed up our Activity Bar.

Search the command palette for something like “reset view” or “reset panels” (not at my computer to check). I have to do this quite a bit too when I’ve accidentally moved something.

@will-stone Thanks! That fixed the activity bar for me. I had re-dragged everything into the Explorer View but the bar would only show the Explorer View icon IF I moved the Opens Editors to the bottom of the Explorer View. If I put Open Editors at the top, I'd get an "open book" looking icon in the bar.
