Draw vertical lines at tab stops #192790

I copy here my request text again, the picture overlaps with it!

Hello. I was looking for the possibility of having vertical lines drawn at each tab stop like (optionally) in Bbedit or Textmate, I attach a screenshot. If possible, it would be nice to have such a feature.

It is my understanding that I could add rules after each 4th column, as in: "editor.rulers": [4,8,12,16,20,24,28,32,36....] going up to some excessive number like 160, but an automatic approach would be better.
