problems in the replace dialog using orca

Steps to reproduce:

1. launch orca.
2. open a file using VSCode.
3. Press ctrl+h to activate the replace dialog.
4. Type the text to be replaced.
5. Press the tab key.
6. Type the replace text.
7. Press the tab key.

On my environment nothing is read by orca and apparently the cursor does not jump to some place. By this reason I can not reach the replace button.

on mac, I have to tab 7 times to reach the replace button.

The faster / more efficient way to do this is to press enter in the replace box. That will replace each instance.

Maybe I didn't describe the problem correctly. The problem is that when the focus is on the replace field and I press the tab key, the focus does not move to subsequent fields, even if I press the tab key many, many times.

Thanks. Do you know where the focus moves in that case? Does enabling tab moves focus mode change anything?

It seems that the focus does not move because after pressing the tab key about ten times, if I press shift+tab, the focus is immediately moved to the find field. Pressing ctrl+m before starting to press the tab key does not produce a different result.

During testing I discovered by accident that if I change to the default profile the problem disappears. Perhaps the problem is being caused by some extension installed in the current profile. As soon as possible I will carry out more tests to better understand what is happening.

This problem no longer happens on my machine. It looks like whatever was causing the problem has somehow been fixed.
