Can't select text in terminal with tmux

If I start tmux in my (remote) terminal session, before the August '23 update, I used to be able to shift-mouse-select text which would be copied to the clipboard. After that update, as soon as I lift the mouse button, the selection disappears, and the text is not copied to the clipboard. So, I am now unable to copy text from the terminal to the clipboard (but it used to work).

I have a .tmux.conf with: set -g mouse on set -g status off

Thanks for creating this issue! It looks like you may be using an old version of VS Code, the latest stable release is 1.83.0. Please try upgrading to the latest version and checking whether this issue remains.
