bug in terminal vs code

I found a bug when opening a terminal in Visual Studio Code on the right side there is a tab when we open a new terminal, and it is not visible and leaves a small part of the UI, this really hinders me, I have tried restarting vs code but still nothing, previously it was fine course, but recently I discovered this problem.

It seems to be appearing randomly sometimes: (not able to create a gif for repro though, reloading vscode generally fixes it, closing/reopening terminal / resizing window or terminal has no effect, not sure what's causing it but it started happening from v1.83.0)
