Thanks for creating this issue! It looks like you may be using an old version of VS Code, the latest stable release is 1.84.1. Please try upgrading to the latest version and checking whether this issue remains.

I am not able to update to latest version. Whenever I am installing latest version its again downgrading to version 1.79.2 on its own.

Based on the version info, VS Code thinks it is running on Windows 8. If that isn't the case please check whether the shortcut you launch it with is configured to use Windows 8 compatibility mode.
