my key a,A is not work in VS code #201993

when i write key a/A it not working. what should i do?

Please use the Start Extension Bisect command from Command Palette (F1) to check whether one of your many extensions is causing this.

If that doesn't find the problem please review your keybindings (Preferences: Open Keyboard Shortcuts (JSON)) to see if you accidentally bound the a/A key to a command.

Thanks for filing this issue!

Could you please try the following:

  1. Run the command "Developer: Toggle Keyboard Shortcuts Troubleshooting" (you can, for example, run it from the Command Palette).

    This will activate logging of dispatched keyboard shortcuts and will open an output panel with the corresponding log file.

  2. Press exactly the keybinding you desire

  3. Check what VS Code detects
