VS Code suddenly won't start on remote server, requires glibc and libstdc++, but server worked fine before hand

I am experiencing an issue with connecting to a remote server. Suddenly two days ago (feb 5th 2024) VS code was unable to connect to the remote server. There were no coinciding extension updates nor was the remote server I was trying to connect to causing issues before hand. I saw an issue that was similar issue reported before but mine is different enough to warrant a new issue report: https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/issues/203967 I already tried uninstalling VS code, this did not help though I did not fully uninstall all the extension files. I also follwoed the steps here to debug the issue but there was nothing found my local end. I have provided the error log from the remote server by attaching it to this error message.

I can't do `code --disable-extensions` as the issue requires SSH Remote to be active.

Using the Extension bisect does not help to diagnose the issue either. This is an issue with the SSH Remote extension, but nothing changed with the remote server. There were no updates. My extensions were up dated at most a few days ago but this issue suddenly cropped up two nights ago. It does not coincide with an extension update.
