Terminal is not working

Type: Performance Issue

Terminal is blank and I am unable to type anything. Maybe i have done some settings mistakes but i completely uninstalled the vs code and its related folder and again installed a fresh vs code but still terminal is blank.

I also want to know what to give input for below: An explicit start path where the terminal will be launched, this is used as the current working directory (cwd) for the shell process. This may be particularly useful in workspace settings if the root directory is not a convenient cwd.

Please solve my issue.
