Source control decorations vanish

In my vscode, the source control decorations which should occur at the left of the line number are vanished.

My git decorations also vanished, appreciate the help on this. Has someone found a workaround?

The source control decorations work well on VSCode stable but not on insiders. Tested without settings and extensions.
