There is a bug with reporting bug here #213300

Type: Bug

I am trying to report a bug with jupyter extension. But if I select here (in this window of VS code of bug reporting) the jupyter extension and press "preview on gihub", it WILL NOT automatically fill in all parameters (the versions, extension list, etc.) but rather it will redirect me to the generic page https://github.com/microsoft/vscode-jupyter/issues/new/choose where I need to fill in all parameters on my own.

VS Code version: Code 1.89.1 (dc96b837cf6bb4af9cd736aa3af08cf8279f7685, 2024-05-07T05:16:23.416Z) OS version: Linux x64 6.4.6-060406-generic Modes:

@ibobak I wasn't able to recreate this issue. are you currently logged into a github account in vs code?

ibobak commented 6 months ago

Yes, I was. I am constantly reporting bugs last days, but only with selecting "jupyter" in the extension dropdown it behaves like this. If I report for "python extension" or just for "VS code" - everything is all right.

I've recorded a video, so that you can look on your own of what is happening: https://youtu.be/g-zp25W1K78

There is a difference between problem reporting with "VS Code" selected and "Extension -> Jupyter" selected.
