Golden ratio for split views/editors #214320

Hi,

Coming from Emacs, having the golden ratio in VSCode would really be great. I see it has been raised in https://github.com/Microsoft/vscode/issues/25903.

By any chance, could it be considered again? or do we have the API that could be used to implement an extension?

I believe there is now sufficient API for extensions to do this. You might want to check for an existing extension doing this already in the marketplace.

Thanks @bpasero for the feedback. Unfortunately I couldn't find similar extension. I will check with the community in case someone knows about such extension.
