Thanks for creating this issue! It looks like you may be using an old version of VS Code, the latest stable release is 1.90.0. Please try upgrading to the latest version and checking whether this issue remains.

You've linked unofficial distribution that is not supported by Microsoft. Issues with available version should be reported in https://github.com/flathub/com.visualstudio.code-oss/issues (but check top one about releases).

When I choose "Save As" or "File Open" (maybe others) the dialog box comes up (hidden) behind the other open windows on my computer. I get a little pop-up warning (from the OS?) that a window has opened which would be unnecessary should the window have been visible instead of hidden. Running Rocky Linux (fully updated) and VSC
