Unwanted autocomplete while typing Python code #219048

Closed p-i- closed 4 months ago

p-i- commented 4 months ago

Type: Bug

See attached screenshot.

I've just typed a [ and it's bringing up autocomplete menu. The next character I want to type is ENTER, which should go to the next line, but it instead selects the first item in the menu, in this case ConnectionResetError.

Now I have to backspace 20 chars, hit CMD+z, doubleclick+BKSP or something.

This is vexing, and I get it quite a lot.
