Nested curly braces don't have matching color #219204

Closed havesomepham closed 5 months ago

havesomepham commented 5 months ago

Type: Bug

Type many (more than 2) nested curly braces in a row, and you will see that matching pairs don't have the same color.

editor.bracketPairColorization.enabled true, editor.bracketPairColorization.independentColorPoolPerBracketType can be either true or false. This problem appears on every color theme

VS Code version: Code 1.90.2 (5437499feb04f7a586f677b155b039bc2b3669eb, 2024-06-18T22:54:35.075Z) OS version: Darwin arm64 23.5.0 Modes:

do you have a 3rd party font enabled that combines two {{ into a single character?

Ah yes, I believe that is the problem. I am using JetBrains Mono. If I try it with JetBrains Mono NL or any other fontface the error disappears.
