TypeScript and JavaScript Language Features #219302

Type: Bug

The TypeScript and JavaScript Language Features in VS Code have been crashing repeatedly since the last update. I've tried disabling extensions, but the issue persists whenever I open a JavaScript file.

I've invested a lot of time in VS Code, and it's disheartening to experience this level of instability. The constant updates and crashes have severely impacted my productivity. I'm actively seeking alternative editors because I can no longer tolerate this frustrating situation. It seems that reliability has become a significant issue with many products from big tech companies.

I'd gladly pay a premium for a stable, productive editor.

VS Code version: Code 1.90.2 (5437499feb04f7a586f677b155b039bc2b3669eb, 2024-06-18T22:37:41.291Z) OS version: Darwin x64 19.6.0 Modes:

In my case, the issue arose after a VS Code update. I tried troubleshooting, but nothing worked. Finally, I restarted my computer (which I hadn't done in months) and the issue was resolved.
