I created a symbolic link from the vs code terminal with filename "metrics.py" i.e. ln -s ~/abc/metrics.py ./metrics.py
The file in the Explorer window show the arrow icon indicating it was a symbolic link which is expected.
After deleting the symbolic link file then creating another normal (non-symbolic link) file called "metrics.py" the arrow icon still remains.
Pretty niche issue but just thought i'd let yas know ;)
