Source Control File Changes Showing Blank Page with continuous loader

Type: Bug

Step 1: go to the Source Control tab Step 2: click on a file to see the diff on the file

Expected Result: what is expected is that you see a Working Tree where the left panel will contain the old version of the file where the changes are highlighted in red and the right panel will show you the current version of the file where the changes are highlighted in green.

Actual Result: The Working tree shows two blank panels with a loader that suggests it's processing something but nothing ever shows up.

I tried uninstalling, reinstalling, hard uninstall, uninstall all extensions, delete the folder. Nothing works on this Windows account. However, when I go to a new Windows account, everything works fine.

In this recording, I make a change, switch to the source control panel, save the change to make the file show up in the source control panel, but when I click on file in the source control panel, all I see are blank pages

Same thing happens for me. Closing VS and opening a different project used to fix it but not for the last week or so

Same. I had to revert to 1.91 to get Source Control pane to work again.

• Are you able to reproduce the issue when you have all extensions disabled?
• If you open the developer tools, are you seeing any relevant errors there?
