16 hours ago I'm still not quite following. Are you saying that you're choosing open folder but it doesn't let you select a folder?
Can you provide some screenshots of what VS Code is showing you and what other applications are showing you?

Type: Bug
VSCode select folder can't show files in the select folder path. The file type is "Select Folder (.vcard .vcf .vct .gcrd)" of the select folder dialog. try to uninstall vscode, delete ~/.config/code and reinstall new vscode, but the problem still exist!
