Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes
VS Code Version: 1.95.0
OS Version: Windows 11
Steps to Reproduce:
Open any file
Move the text cursor by pressing the arrow up/down lines and keep the key pressed
Normally, the cursor should smoothly move through all the content lines. But today, it sometimes stops and hangs for almost a second. I keep the arrow key pressed and the the window is rendered again, the cursor has jumped further, to where it should be, but nothing was visible in the meantime. This is an extreme test case. In normal operation, the view freezes just the same, and more often so. When typing code and moving the cursor quickly between lines and words, this freezing is a massive annoyance. It so bad I don't want to use this editor anymore. It has not happened the last time I used VSCode, but that has been a few weeks ago. I just upgraded VSCode today. Maybe that was the problem. Can I downgrade it again to what it was before today's upgrade?
