Copilot Inline chat hunks don't disappear when rejected #233339

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: No

VS Code Version: 1.95.1
OS Version: Linux

Steps to Reproduce:

Open the inline chat (ctrl +I) and sent a prompt that generates edits in multiple hunks
Discard one of the hunks

Instead of undoing the previous hunk edit when discarding it, the hunk is still visible and decorated as a diff, see screenshot:

Thanks for creating this issue! It looks like you may be using an old version of VS Code, the latest stable release is 1.95.1. Please try upgrading to the latest version and checking whether this issue remains.

Sorry for being inaccurate, this is happening on 1.95.1.
