Click on breadcrumb dismisses the dropdown half of the time #54438

Issue Type: Bug

I click the breadcrumb with touchpad but half of the time the dropdown shows up and then dismisses, not sure if I click on the edges.

In above gif, the first click works but following clicks don't. My gif recording was bad and didn't capture the flashing of the dropdown.

Above gif is a bit better and you can see some flashing but this time the dropdown stays instead of disappearing.

@rebornix Any chance you click twice? That would cause the flickering...
