Hi! I would like to suggest removing the 1-5 star rating system for extensions.
Why?
Real users of extensions rarely leave reviews. At a minimum, you need to register to do this, which often stops you. But unscrupulous developers may deliberately lower the ratings of other extensions in order to lower position in search results and raise own extensions. In my case, one 1-star review dropped my extension in search from 5 to 11 position. Also, such a review may simply not be objective and unfair. This can be frustrating and demotivating for developers who don't get a penny for their efforts (vast majority). Even if there really is some kind of bug in the extension, I consider it good practice to create an issue on Github.
What to do?
Instead of the five-rank rating, make one button "👍 36 liked". Or as on GitHub: "⭐️ 36 stars". Instead of reviews (comments), I would add a "Issues" section.
