[Inquiry]: WinGet in MS Store #43

Description

Although this inquiry can be seen as off topic, it goes on the same premise. Can you tell the development teams of Microsoft Store to add WinGet community packages to the store as well, fitting with the premise of Win32 App security. Win32 App security is what made Windows infamous for malware, but Windows S mode got serious negitive feedback due to almost all Windows users using Win32 apps. Navigating to a download page is both inconvenient and really insecure due to fake sources for the package, and clicking the wrong ad bringing you to malware. Integrating WinGet’s repository in Microsoft Store will be extremely helpful.

An example is Google Chrome, which is likely the most installed Windows software ever to exist. Microsoft Store is often neglected by users due to the lack of applications.

Hi @upintheairsheep, thank you for your feedback. We recommend contacting the Microsoft Store team regarding the integration of Winget community packages.
