The last version of Dolphin was tagged as 5.0 in 2016. Last month, the developers have decided to move to a rolling release cycle and are releasing Dolphin 2407 (https://dolphin-emu.org/blog/2024/07/02/dolphin-releases-announcement/) .

Version 2407 is the second version release since 5.0 in 2016.

Around 6 years + 4 months ago (2018-04-01T08:47:02.718235+02:00), Dolphin had switched their releases file type from exe to 7z in version 5.0-6803. See Dolphin Emulator - Releases - page 3 for more details.

winget.exe does not support *.7z archives at the moment.
