Crash when snipping tool used to copy an area of the screen #1197

Steps to reproduce:

I just tried to use the snipping tool to get a partial screenshot

WSL logs:

weston.log stderr.log pulseaudio.log

WSL dumps:

feedback-hub:feedbackid=78bc987b-7726-4ab0-8f26-2420e8559de5 - feedback with the Weston core dump.

Expected behavior:

Get a screenshot successfully

Actual behavior:

Weston crash
