Applications suddenly disappear after computer resumes from sleep/hibernation #1222

See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-iVhKy4KFkg I don't use WSL, but I've heard people reporting this issue on Reddit. I searched and found a detailed but very short video (only 40 seconds) on YouTube from April 2023 demonstrating and reporting this problem. The video has recent comments (from 3 months ago) reporting the same problem, so it doesn't seem fixed.

@ghost, thanks for reporting the issue, at the latest pre-release of WSL, we have fixed the issue WSLg application window disappears when netwok configuration is changed, and that can happen at sleep/hibernation, would you please try out the latest pre-release, you also can install it by wsl --update --pre-release, thanks!
