Gentle white ambilight instead of no light #215

Original Philips ambilight systems project gentle white light even if there's a
black colour on the screen.
It reduces sudden turn off / turn onof leds, makes that ambilight works as a
whole and it creates more "liquid" effect. Simply there's never completely dark
places behind LCD.

It would be great if Lightpack software allows to set the minimal brightness of
leds when ambilight is on.

It's normal that not everyone needs this function but still it might be useful
for some of us :) .

Hi,

I recently had an opportunity to check if option "adjustable minimum light"
makes sense and guess what - IT DOES! No more dark spots behind screen and it
looks really cool! I know that priority for this issue is "low" but I'm really
hoping that this option will be available in upcoming update! :)
Can anybody confirm that? Thanks!
